Back in 2017 we created a new Key Account Manager (KAM) role as additional field based resource to help support our customers. Due to the success and demand from customers, we have expanded the team and it is now an integral part of our service delivery. For our larger clients, it’s often difficult for central customer contract managers and administrators to engage with their extensive remote mobile teams day to day. The larger the organisation, the greater this challenge can be.

The KAMs put extensive focus and efforts in with managers and team leaders out in the field, where central staff struggle with competing priorities and, as a result, have seen significant increases in usage and adoption rates seen by customers, and ultimately the value customers get from the Reliance Protect solutions.

Our Key Account Managers offer a proactive approach and own initiatives which are agreed centrally so they can be delivered locally out to the field-based lone working teams. By taking responsibility to drive initiatives forwards we can take some of the burden off the central team. It’s part of the personal touch we offer and deliver through our passionate staff.
