Reliance Protect are pleased to announce that our range of lightweight, easy to use incident record body worn cameras are available via our NHS Supply Chain National Framework. The HD cameras, feature rich VideoManager secure online portal, cloud media storage, and live streaming options are available over a number of different contract lengths. Having these available via the NHS Supply Chain Framework makes procurement far simpler and quicker for all UK public sector organisations.
Since launching our body worn solutions we have seen a rapid uptake and have done extensive trials in areas such as the NHS with example applications including in-patient wards, A&E wards and site security guards; Local Authorities with applications in parking enforcement; and Probation Services applications. Staff find the cameras are very easy to use and wear due to their small size, lightweight, strong clothing attachments and haptic feedback when operating.
The secure VideoManager portal enables authorised staff to quickly deploy and manage their camera estate and manage the video footage captured. Simple but feature-rich editing tools allow customers the ability to fully manage their video files without the need to liaise with ourselves. Being web based rather than installed locally, secure access to the portal can be via laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. The cloud storage enables ongoing maintenance-free storage resilience and scalability.
The RFID technology is extremely effective when deploying cameras across a large number of users. Staff can use their existing ID cards. This technology allows the tracking of who has which camera at any one time and an audit trail of who made which recordings, and when cameras were taken out and brought back (or not brought back!).
Our camera range all include the options for live streaming, either stream back within the customer organisation or back to our Reliance Protect Monitoring Centre. The live stream can be viewed by authorised individuals within the customer organisation using desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. With Reliance Protect monitoring the live stream, customers can be reassured of the most efficient and effective incident management service.
