Key Features of the ID+ Lone Worker Device:
Advanced Connectivity
By utilising 4G connectivity, ID+ future-proofs users with the impending shut off of the UK’s 2G networks. This latest technology also enables the ID+ to perform key functions in parallel and at a much faster rate than traditional lone worker devices. This high-speed connectivity is further bolstered and future-proofed with built-in Bluetooth technology, enabling linking with smartphones, smartwatches and other wearables and devices. ID+ also includes a roaming SIM Card to find the strongest network signal when coverage may be low.
Advanced Location Information
ID+ overcomes the key limitation of existing lone worker devices that use GPS only and often struggle to function when the user is indoors. Combining the latest GPS and Wi-Fi location technologies enables ID+ to deliver a more accurate read on location – both indoors and out. The device simply switches to Wi-Fi location technology when the GPS starts to struggle (typically indoors) , and then reverts back to GPS when GPS positioning becomes available.
Advanced Data
ID+ also takes advantage of the 4G connectivity to provide powerful background data which is, in turn, is transformed into powerful and insightful management information around usage patterns, trending, and live risk management applications.
Advanced Fall/Impact Detection
ID+ enters a pre-alarm stage when a fall or impact is detected, which can then be automatically escalated into a Red Alert alarm if the user is incapacitated.
Advanced Monitoring Protection
Adding an extra level of peace of mind, ID+ enables users to check in prior to performing high-risk tasks. This can be assigned to a specified timer, accounting for enough time to complete the task. If a check out is not received after this time, the Alarm Receiving Centre will be alerted and proactively contact the user to ensure their safety. Check in and out can also be performed at the start and end of each day, as well as at regular intervals throughout the day if required. This function works even if the user is out of mobile coverage.
Advanced Discretion
ID+ is designed with the most discreet form factor. The lightweight, slim device can easily be worn as a normal ID badge holder, on a lanyard or lapel clip, so users can raise alarms quickly and discreetly with the ID+ always close at hand. The device delivers confirmation of specific actions through vibration patterns that only the user feels.
Advanced Convenience
ID+ is designed for challenging environments. ID+ is IP67 rated, protected from dust ingress and waterproof for up to 30 minutes at a 1 metre depth. Designed also for convenience and ease of use, the device has simple LEDs for device status and provides up to 4 days of battery life on a single charge – simply drop the device into the charging dock or charge via micro-USB if out and about.
