Reliance Protect will be at The Health & Safety Event 2023

April 29, 2024

RELIANCE PROTECT, a leading provider of lone worker personal safety solutions, will be exhibiting and presenting at the Health & Safety Event 2023, which takes place on 25-27 April at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

The company will be located on Stand 3/C60, where visitors will be able to discover more about its comprehensive range of products, systems and services.

Taking centre stage will be the Pulse+ next-generation keyfob. As well as being the first 4G keyfob style lone worker device to be launched in the UK, integrating it with Wi-Fi, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Bluetooth functionality means that Pulse+ offers the best of all worlds, making sure those in need are located as quickly as possible whether they are indoors or outdoors.

At what is the UK’s largest gathering of health and safety professionals, visitors will also have the chance to get hands-on with Reliance Protect’s ID Ultra personal safety device. Winner of the Best Use of Technology Award at the 2021 British Security Industry Association Awards, ID Ultra is the most advanced, secure and efficient solution for lone workers. Like Pulse+, ID Ultra integrates Wi-Fi location technology alongside GPS functionality.

Reliance Protect will also be demonstrating its latest range of body worn cameras with live stream incident management capabilities through the Reliance 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre.

Giving Reliance Protect customers full control over their lone worker and body worn camera contracts, Reliance Protect continues to develop its Focus and VideoManager cloud-based online portals. Attendees will be able to find out about the latest updates on both portals and explore their key features. Similarly, information about the Reliance Protect Lone Worker Safety App will be available, which is designed with a simple to use interface and a variety of useful features.

Lone Worker Safety Live will be bringing its free to attend conference programme to the Health & Safety Event 2023. In bitesize interactive sessions, industry experts will share their knowledge about managing the wellbeing, safety and security of lone workers. On 25 April at 2.45pm Chris Allcard, the company’s lone worker services director, will take part in a panel discussion titled ‘The Use of Technology Within Lone Working – Pros and Cons’.

He will be followed on 26 April at 11.20am by Adam Lee, business development manager whose presentation is titled ‘Managing Body Worn Camera Video Footage: The Challenges and Opportunities’. Reliance Protect has found that many organisations are inadvertently putting themselves at risk by not properly managing the video content they create via body worn cameras. Lee will look at these risks, share best practices and provide guidance on managing data.

“The last couple of years have seen a significant increase in the use of body worn cameras and there have been some remarkable developments in the technology available to protect lone workers,” commented Allcard. “We are looking forward to discussing our activities in this area with those attending the Health & Safety Event 2023 and visitors to Stand 3/C60 will have an excellent opportunity to get hands-on with our latest innovations and engage with our team of experts, who will be happy to answer questions and offer product demonstrations.”
