Reliance Protect gets set to exhibit at the Health & Safety Event 2022

April 25, 2024

Reliance Protect, the leading provider of lone worker solutions, has announced that it will be exhibiting and presenting at the Health & Safety Event 2022, which takes place on 5th-7th April at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. At what is the UK’s largest gathering of health and safety professionals, Reliance Protect will be found on Stand P11, where visitors will be able to discover more about its comprehensive range of products, systems and services.

The last 12 months have been a period of considerable activity for Reliance Protect and the company will use the Health & Safety Event 2022 to showcase its latest lone worker innovations. Taking centre stage will be the new Pulse+ next generation keyfob with 4G and Bluetooth connectivity, assisted Global Positioning System (GPS) and Wi-Fi locating technologies, which combine to provide accurate location positioning both indoors and outdoors.

Building on the success of Reliance Protect’s pioneering Pulse keyfob, Pulse+ has a robust design with an IP67 waterproof rating, improved battery life and enhanced ease of use. As well as being the first 4G keyfob style lone worker device to be launched in the UK, integrating it with Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth functionality means that Pulse+ is able to offer the best of all worlds, making sure those in need are helped as quickly as possible. With improved performance in generating alarm calls and sending location information in an SOS situation, Pulse+ also has a monitor check-in and out function. Users can check in and if they don’t check back out the device within the allocated time, an alarm is raised – even when the Pulse+ goes out of coverage.

Visitors will also have the chance to get hands-on with Reliance Protect’s ID Ultra. Winner of the Best Use of Technology Award at the 2021 British Security Industry Association Awards, ID Ultra is the most advanced, secure and efficient solution for those in lone worker situations. Like Pulse+, ID Ultra integrates Wi-Fi for indoor locating alongside GPS functionality for outdoor locating. Delegates will also be able to find out about the latest mapping and reporting updates to Reliance Protect’s Focus portal, which enables organisations to access and update data in near real-time, troubleshoot devices, view and schedule a wide range of reports, and keep their technology and training provision completely up to date.

The Health & Safety Event 2022 has a free to attend seminar programme, with the opportunity to earn continuing professional development (CPD) points and access high quality educational content. Senior personnel from Reliance Protect will be present in the Lone Worker Theatre, where they will explore some of the challenges for remote workers and offer best practice tips.

In his 5th April presentation titled Beyond Legal Responsibilities – Staying Safe Outside Of Work, Chris Allcard, the company’s lone worker services director, will explore the opportunities to develop existing lone worker solutions so that users benefit from using them outside of work. Allcard will be followed on 6th April by Andy Schofield, Reliance High Tech’s director of technology, for a session titled Harnessing The Power Of Data: Managing Diverse Lone Working In The NHS. He will examine how the NHS is starting to drive improvements in staff safety by integrating data from a range of disparate health and safety systems, providing increased transparency and coherence throughout the organisation.

It has been a tremendously exciting period for us and we are looking forward to discussing our latest developments and activities with those attending the Health & Safety Event 2022. It is set to be one of the highlights of the year for the lone worker sector and visitors to Stand P11 will have an unrivalled opportunity to get hands-on with our latest innovations, speak to our team of experts and discover the many advantages of working with us.
